I mentioned in a previous guide that I would add more beauty tips from my friend Demo & myself when I got them and put them together. Well I finally did it so here goes--
1- If you have unruly eyebrows, take an old toothbrush & give it a quick spray of hairspray. Quickly run the toothbrush over your eyebrows & they should stay set.
2- Give your hairbrush one spray of your favorite perfume, then brush your hair. It will leave a subtle scent trailing from your hair.
3-Add sugar to your body wash, your skin will be soft after using the body wash. Just make sure to rinse well after use.
4- Use half a cup of mayonnaise as a hair conditioner, leave on 15 minutes, then rinse well.
5- Warm up your eyeliner or lipliner pencils before application by pressing them against your hand or by using your hair dryer to make application smoother.
6- If you want your eye shadow to last all day, simply apply a thin layer of concealer before applying your eye shadow.
7-To get the eye gloss effect, brush a dark powder eye shadow onto your eyelids & apply a little Vaseline on top.
8-Always keep your lipsticks & all makeup pencils in the fridge, this prevents them from breaking & gives you amazing results.
9-Dark skin looks great wth dark purple & blue colors on the eyes. Dark metallic colors also look good. Silver around the eye will make them stand out. Finish your eyes with black eyeliner & black mascara. If you wish to use eye shadow, avoid white or very light colors.
10- Mix 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar wth Dove body wash, use it on yur skin and then don't let anyone know how you got this perfect skin.
11-For hair static, spray your hair brush with hair spray and brush your hair and it should take care of the static and the fly aways.
12-When applying any type of eye cream to the eye area, always remember to use your ring finger. This finger uses the least amount of pressure to the delicate eye area. Also Never rub your eyes. Once the eye skin/tissue has been stretched it never goes back.
Brighten eyes:
Use a deep navy eyeliner pencil on the inner rims of your upper lids when your done with the rest of your eye makeup, Gently lift lashes with your fingers that will help you to see where the eyeliner is going. The blue color makes the whites of your eyes stand out.
Eyebrows:
To give your brows color, shine & great hold, take a little bit of clear lip gloss & comb it through the eyebrows.
Foundation:
Concealer should always follow foundation. (I follow this trick but I then put a little foundation on top of the concealer)
Mascara:
Use two kinds of mascara-coat the top lashes with a thickening or volumnizing mascara to create thickness & the bottom lashes with a waterproof mascara. (When I am in a hurry I like to just give my top lashes 2 coats of mascara then out the door. I find applying mascara to the bottom lashes to be more time consuming so I don't apply any to the lower lashes. Also I always have a lash spooly in my makeup bag in case of clumping)
Draw the line:
To make liquid liner easier to use, create a line by going over the lash line with a dark gray pencil first. Then apply liquid liner over it.
Natural looking eye makeup:
If you look closely at natural looking eyes, you will generally see expertly applied liner and shadows in colors that blend into the skin. Choose an eye shadow that matches your skin tone but offers just a touch of shimmer. Sweep that on from your lashes to your brow. Then take a slightly darker shade to apply in your crease wth a tapered or crease shadow brush. If you have deep-set eyes, pull the color out of the crease and up slightly so that it shows when your eyes are open.
Natural lips:
Natural lips usually don't go for boldly colored lipstick/glosses but opt instead for nude shades. Not surprising, when women go in pursuit of the perfect nude look, they refer to Angelina Jolie's mouth. Her lips look soft, supple and definitely seductive and kissable. Score your own Brad with come-hither lips in your own perfect nude shade. MAC Cosmetics makes a crowd-pleasing shade called "Blankety"; it has a creamy finish and not too much of any undertone.
Face:
Use a bronzer below your cheekbones, on your temples, at your hairline and under your chin. It's easiest to apply with an angled brush. Also, remember to add the color slowly and blend well (blend downward) to avoid harsh lines.
Hair:
Most hair coloring problems are related to your hair's basic color. How to change it or mix it with a new color to make your hair look good? This is the point, so Demo will tell you about highlighting dark hair.
The addition of hair highlights to any color is enough to create a whole new look, also bear in mind that not all colors look right on a brunette. Though dark hair types can get away wth many different colors, sometimes the contrast is so alarming that it comes off looking more like a mistake than an intentional color job. In cases where the color in question is a bit of a risk and you aren't quite sure if it will work for you, consider undergoing a patch test on select strands first. This will help you determine whether the color really belongs.
Demo has a friend that works with a famous hair sytlist and he always says that hair lowlight shades are an ideal way to bring out highlights. They create vibrancy and help the highlights blend in with your hair's natural color. He recommends getting lowlights every third time of your hair's highlighting cycle to keep your hair healthy and looking good.
Also if you're a newcomer to the highlighting world, your probably best off having the job done by a professional. Not only will you feel more confident in the hands of someone experienced, you'll also receive targeted color recommendations.
It's not just your natural color that works into the equation when it comes to highlighting dark hair. You might also consider your complexion. Bold fiery shades (such as reds and blues {undertones}) can look out of place and somewhat shocking on an individual with light or fair skin. They can also be rather aging, so it's best to avoid those types of shades in most situations. When in doubt, stick to colors that are the closest to your own natural color and progress slowly.
Arms and thighs:
The area known as the Axilla (arm-pit) and the inner thigh over time can darken. Lightening these areas once they have darken can be frustrating. Demo has an at home recipe that may help. Mix warm olive oil + glycerine liquid + lemon+ soft salt + almond oil + 2 teaspoons honey + baby powder together. Apply it to the area, let it sit for 15-20 minutes and then rub it with a dry towel. Demo says do this for at least 3 weeks.
Heels & Feet:
Removing roughness from your heels and keeping them soft can also be frustrating. The reason heels get rough is due to lack of blood circulation. Demo suggests that you exfoliate your feet weekly and moisturize daily. Every night before going to bed try this--soak your feet in warm water and olive oil for about a half hour to an hour. Then apply glycerine and put on socks. Demo says this should help combat the roughness and cracking of your heals and keep your feet smooth and pretty.
Perfumes:
The 5 Sexiest Perfumes For Women doesn't mean that there are NO better perfumes out there: but we ladies always wonder this- "Why does this perfume smell better on you than me?!"
We have determined this-- If Ladies "X" & "Y" use the same perfume "Z", but after applying, Lady "X" finds that perfume "Z" smells great on her and so-so or bad on Lady "Y", both ladies wonder why and get frustrated. This difference occurs because each lady's body has its own unique scent which interacts differently with the perfume applied, which gives each lady a different smell with the same perfume.
The 5 Sexiest Perfumes for Women mentioned below have the most ability to interact positively with each individual body's scent to give each person who uses it the best smell.
Now lets tell you what the 5 Sexiest Perfumes for Women are:
1- Chanel No. 5
2- Coco Chanel
3- Dolce & Gabbana's Pour Femme
4- Lacoste's Touch of Pink
5- Obsession for Women, by Calvin Klein
