Buying Custom templates & logos from Graphic artists on ebay is the easiest way to add that "one of a kind" listing. You can find many professionally designed pages that use them.
Your first step is to find the right one for your ebay business. Make sure it matches your business.
Most Templates & logos are sent via email & are easily downloaded or unzipped to your computer.
Make sure that the files for templates you receive have not only the HTML coding... but each photo file as well.
Step 2: after you receive & have downloaded your files to your computer.... upload photo files (or logo) to your photo hosting. Along with picture manager... there are many photo hosting sites out there.
Step 3: for templates....open your html text file & highlight & copy all html coding. Then go to your listing in ebay, turbo lister or what ever program you use. Open the HTML view & paste.
Step 4: change to "design view" & add in your text information. If your template has "words" such as "description here"... just highlight & type over.
Step 5: Now adding your pictures... some design views will just let you "add picture". Be sure it reads the web address location of your photo. IF you are not able to do that... look in your HTML view & if it says something like...
<src img:"http://www.SOMETHING.com/PHOTO.jpg"> just simply change to the location of your photo.
For logos.... you only have to do step 5.
Step 6: VERY IMPORTANT... Preview your listing to be sure the coding is correct! If you have any difficulty... a good graphic artist can be contacted & will help you out!
Save your work & upload to ebay.... VOILA.... you now have a one of a kind custom listing or logo.
****tip**** avoid "busy" templates with too many graphics... these are not only distracting from your listing but may take longer loading time for dialup users!
Happy listing all....
