I'm 23 year old female, and I've had acne problems since I was 10. I've been in and out of dermatologists' offices throughout the years, and have used dozens of prescriptions with little or no results. The only thing that has ever seemed to work is an oral contraceptive, which you can't stay on forever, thus my recurrence of the frightful zits. I tried Proactiv for 2 1/2 months with absolutely zero results, so I finally just quit using it a couple of weeks ago.
So, I've been using Acnexus for about 3 days now. I agree with other users, the website is unprofessional and hokey, and the fact that they advertise diet pills is a huge turnoff. But, I must say, the product works well. I've used it several times now, and I can already see my old blemishes healing and, the most impressive part, I'm not getting any new ones. If you wear makeup or have extremely oily skin as I do, you'll probably need to use another cleanser before using Acnexus. It doesn't lather or remove any of that stuff as it is purely an acne scrub.
Honestly, I was a big critic of this product, but I've tried everything, so all I had to lose was money. I didn't expect to see results as soon as I did, and that definitely makes me happy. The only thing I don't like about it is the pump. It spits out a different amount every time I pump it, and sometimes I have to pump it like 10 times to get the desired amount. But, I may have just gotten a defective pump, too. Either way, the stuff is working for me, and I'd definitely recommend anyone who's frustrated with their acne to give it a try.
