The Acer 11.6" AO751h-1351 Netbook PC Z520 is a great little laptop / NetBook. This is a great netbook and hits the sweet spot in size and weight/portability. At 11.6" it is hundreds of dollars less than the 12" plus laptops. Yes, the other machines are faster, etc., but the purpose of a netbook is to go on the internet and not really work on complicated tasks. This one comes with Vista Basic, which is okay but I would rather have XP of course. I kept getting BSODs and Black screens (whatever that is). It seems like it was a memory address problem because I used an SD card utilizing Vista's ReadyBoost feature. I shut this off and removed the card and haven't had another BSOD yet.
The keyboard is very comfortable to type on with great sized keys (and well spaced). The smaller NetBooks are harder to type on- literally just finger tap instead of type. The wireless is great and works well at a distance with my home wireless network. The low-light webcam works fantastic and really is great in low light situations. The HD screen is brilliant and the colors are beautiful. The mouse pad is much better than the 8.9" net books and has a Rocker type mouse button set-up and is much easier to use.
I do have the blue one and it is VERY prone to fingerprints and smudging as is to be expected. Go with the white one (my 8.9" ones are white) if the smudges will bother you. I have skins on the smaller ones anyway and can't find any that are made for this size NetBook yet.
I also have a couple of 8.9" Acer's, which I love. I keep one in the car and another for around the house/yard. Overall, this is a great little machine and a small investment for a great size machine.
