Ok, I couldn't resist the info-mercials any longer.  I wanted to see what the Ab Lonuge thing was all about.  I went directly to eBay sellers to see who was offering what and for how much.  I then went out on the WWW and did the same search.  Sorry eBay sellers, this time you didn't have the best deal for me.

I purchased the Ab Lounge XL

With free shipping, all extras included it was still cheaper than those being offered at auction.  Delivery was to take approximately 10 days.

Here it is...

The Ab Lounge XL was delivered on schedule and I excitedly carried it up the stairs....whew, it was HEAVY!!!

The Good ---- Construction time

The instructions included in the packaging were easy to follow and within 20 minutes I had it together...

The Bad ---- I thought this thing was supposed to hold up to 250 lbs....

And yet, on the third "situp" the "long cable broke"~  I weigh only 118...what's with that? I looked at the cable construction and decided I could fix it.  Down I went to the tool box and before long, I had it back to its original condition.

The Good ---- Yeah, it works again

I got my first work-out.  Wow, this thing is incredible!  I love it!  I got my husband to try it out (190 lbs).  He loves it too.  OK, enough for the first day. 

The Bad ---- Oh, No, it happened again!

On the second day of exercise, my "long cable" bit the dust again....OK, I had determined that the basic design of this cable was doomed to failure, but the lounge worked so well otherwise.

The Good ---- Customer Service

I called the number on the receipt and reached customer service.  I explained what had happened and requested a replacement "long cable".  No problem. It would be sent right away.

The Bad ---- How long will it take to get here???

After two weeks of waiting for the replacement cable, I was beginning to think I had been taken for a ride.  Just before three weeks were up, the cable arrived....ALL THE WAY FROM ENGLAND!!!

No wonder it took so long! I could not believe that this replacement item wasn't readily available in the U.S.!

The Good ---- It works!!!

So, within 2 minutes of receiving the new "long cable" I was back on the Ab Lounge XL.  It has been working without a hitch for a month now.

The Ugly...

Though it is technically able to fold and slide away out of sight, it is more work than I'm willing to do, so I just have it out in the middle of my office floor....got to find a better place for it...

The Beautiful....

Well, maybe I'm not beautiful, but I'm certainly in better shape!  I have not even started using the full range of exercises available with the Ab Lounge XL, but I can say this:

• The exercising is easy and comfortable
• The chair fabric is breathable, so it isn't a super sweaty affair
• I can work out for a few minutes several times per day, and relieve stress, without feeling as if I have to run to take a shower each time
• If I were so inclined, I could fold the lounge and slide it under a bed or behind furniture
• The cost of the lounge was very reasonable
• I don't have to leave home to get a little toning
• I don't have to endure sitting on the floor to exercise
• I can get replacement cables as needed, but must wait a long time for their delivery

All, in all, I'm happy with my purchase.
