Dear Thomas Wylde fan,

Well, you know -- I wrote two guides about Thomas Wylde bag.

Then, of course, from the pictures that listing in the auction,

I know which one is authentic and which one is not.

Before I placed the bid the bag, I already studied everything.

Recently, I just won Thomas Wylde bag in Ivory/White on eBay.

Guess what -- when the bag arrived, I was shock that the bag is the fake one!

You know why I missed this??

Because the seller put the pictures of the authentic one on the list!!

She sent me the fake one.

I've seen many sellers do the same thing.

One sellers sells two Thomas Wylde bags at the same time, one in white and another one in brown.

For the white bag, the pictures that the seller post is the pictures of the authentic Thomas Wylde bag.

However, for the brown ag from the same seller, the bag in the pictures is definitely fake.

Strange, isn't it??

Another seller sells the black bag and she posts many pictures in the list,

the pictures that show the front and the back of the bag are taken from the authentic one.

But then, the pictures of the handle and tag are taken from the fake one.

So weird --

I just want to warn you that now you can't trust only the pictures.

Check the seller's feedback before placed the bid.

If the seller has a history about selling the fake bag, then you shoulld be careful.

Check what the other items that the seller is selling, seller who is selling or has sold many Thomas Wylde bag is unsafe.

Thomas Wylde bags are rare, exclusive and were produced in limit quantity.

Price is another important factor.

The retail price of Thomas Wylde skull studs bag is over $2,000

Therefore, if the seller set the starting price that is too good to be true then, I don't think it's gonna be true.

The seller who has a strange return policy is also risky.

They sold you a fake bag.

When you want to return, they told you to pay for shipping both way and pay another 10% restocking fee.

At the end, you get nothing but lose money for shipping and 10% restocking fee plus negative feedback.

While the seller lose nothing and get another 10% restocking fee.

Good business huh??

Anyway, for people who got cheated like me. Don't be panic.

If the pictures that were listed are the pictures of the authentic bag and you got the fake bag.

You could report eBay that the item you receive is significantly different from the item description.

First thing, you have to save all the pictures from the auction that you won. Save all the description.

Try your best to notice what the differences are.

Take the pictures of your actual bag in the same view as in the auction.

Don't report to eBay yet, talk to the seller first.

I did get my refund back without report eBay.

Send the pictures that you took to the seller.

tell the seller that it's against eBay's regulation.

Explain how it's different.

Color of the bag, color of the hardware, material or even the dimesion are all important things that can't be ignored.

If the seller asked for restocking fee or don't accept return, I recommend you to report eBay and PayPal that the item you receive is significantly different from the description.

Follow eBay and PayPal process, you actaully already had everything which prove that your statement is true.

Actually, in this case, the chance that you are going to win is higher than you got the fake bag and the pictures that were listed are the pictures of the actual fake bag.
