[Note: We have discontinued use of Auctiva and do not recommend it to any eBay sellers. It created nothing but problems for us. But for those who still seek this info it will remain as is.]
USING AUCTIVA'S
SECURE CHECKOUT DEMO
Below is the purchase process for buyers paying through PayPal. The steps that differ from a normal eBay checkout are supposed to be accompanied by a screenshot.
Unfortunately eBay does not allow non-eBay links in eBay blogs and eBay re-sizes uploaded images so small that you can't read screen shots like the ones originally included in this guide. So I have provided a tested Google search pattern that will take you directly to the original guide on Auctiva's site.
Just copy and paste the following line "as is" into the Google search engine:
"Secure Checkout" " - Checkout Screenshots"
If
you used your mouse to highlight and copy that line exactly as it is,
quotes and all, and pasted it into Google's web search box, you should only
get one search result which is a link to the original version of the above
Checkout Guide including the sample screen shot images I had to leave out below.
THE LAME eBAY VERSION OF THE GUIDE:
Like normal, buyers use the eBay "Pay Now" button when they are ready to checkout.
Buyers are taken to an eBay page to select their payment method. (screen shot 1)
Next, buyers verify their shipping address, shipping service and insurance preferences, if applicable, on the Auctiva Checkout Order Summary page. (screen shot 2)
Once they click the "Make Payment" button at the bottom of that page they are transferred to PayPal to complete the PayPal process.
When that is done, buyers return to an Auctiva Checkout Complete page. They can print this page as a receipt. (screen shot 3)
Click the thumbnails to view the buyer's experience using Auctiva Secure Checkout!
