10/3/08   "I SAID WAKE UP MOTHER OCEAN, WE NEED YOU NOW!"   Since the beginning, our civilization has made and continues to make many discoveries and advancements. As progress continues, I believe that it does because we are painfully aware that we do not know a lot more than we do. (you might want to reread that last sentence). I also believe that it is our thirst for knowledge & improvement of life that continues to motivate us forward.  We have spent about 50 years, and Billions upon Billions of Dollars, tiptoeing around in outer space. We evidently haven't found what we're looking for yet. I'm just glad that we aren't cats, as it was curiosity that killed them. As we continue to build our space station while exploring other planets in the universe, let us not ignore the monster that is not only a lot closer to us, but right here on this planet earth. That yet hardly tapped monster is none other than the "Almighty Ocean".  (tbc)  Atticus Alberts              10/7/08.  In a previous guide I indicated that discovering how best to derive ocean energy should be the challenge of private industry - as opposed to our government. Most effective I believe, would be companies who already have an interest in, and are currently operating toward goals of developing new sources of energy. I have to exempt oil companies right now however, as with their Multi-Billions of Dollars in profits each quarter, their true motivation to develope ocean energy would be highly questionable. It's kind of a shame though, as they are well capitalized for such needed investments. If it should turn out though, that companies who are currently in the field of procurring new sources of energy, choose not to come forward, then the developement of ocean energy is available as a challenge to everyone else. All existing companies had to start from an idea. Therefore, any one person or group who has the insight, drive, & resources, (money) to get started, or the ability to raise funds by selling stock in this worthwhile venture, are perfectly good candidates. At this time, that's where I want to stay, while going through the 4th quarter of my life. If my eBay Guides on tapping our oceans for an unlimited supply of energy, inspires someone out there to act, then you are on your way not only to earning big profits, but to become a great pioneer in our history. Fame & fortune alone however, should not be our true motivator. The quest to help all of mankind by leading or actively participating in this persuit of unleashing the oceans energy should.   This concludes my writings on the topic of Finding New Energy Solutions...
