Hello Ebayers, To me there isnt much difference between these 2, how ever you have sellers that didnt bother to ask questions or try a item out and GOT A LEMON. So then you have that same seller putting it on ebay as a AS IS item untested ( no way to test ) or for parts,knowing full well it dont work. My idea is EBAY should have a Repair and Parts section, whether it is electronics, autos, what have you, and ALL items listed as a AS IS or for REPAIR should list that item under that HEADING and SECTION and then any Hobbiest or Repair person can go right there and save themselves time as well as shoppers that is looking for working items. If you have junk and know it sell it at a yard sale or a Flea Market, NOT ON EBAY, and yes 2/3s of the stuff is Auction items, Yard Sale, and Flea Market items that end up here, but the difference is DOES IT WORK ??? YES or NO its that simple. I think that it would be very nice to have a Ebay section called Parts and Repair and everybody would be happy and it would be easy to use.
