Many Used Car Dealers are selling cars on the internet these days. I am one of those dealers. The internet has revolutionized the way people shop. Not just for cars but for many things. If your looking to buy a car over the internet, Ebay is one of the Safest ways to do it. Buying a car from another state may be a hassle for some, but could save you thousands. Yes it may cost you a few hundred or maybe even a thousand dollars to go pick the car up or to have it shipped, but if you find the one your loking for at the right price you will come out ahead in the long run. I myself have purchased many vehicles off ebay. I encourage anyone looking for a Used car to hop on ebay and see what kind of deal they can find. I have also sold many cars on Ebay as well. Being a used car dealer myself, I have found that more and more of advertising dollars are spent advertising on the internet instead of local papers and radio. A few things to look for when buying a car on Ebay are the obvious FEEDBACK score and Location of the vehicle, but you also want to look for sellers that have sold more then just one car on ebay and have a good reputation. Look for one with 20+ pictures of the vehicle. In my experience if there are only 5-10 pics then there are spots on or in the vehicle the seller does not want you to see, which could lead to a problem when you go to pick the car up. If at all possible, it is a VERY VERY good idea to go look at the vehicle before bidding on it. This gives you a chance to see what your buying and a chance to take a test drive in it. Ebay offers a 24 picture special which is perfect for anyone looking to sell a car or truck on ebay. I personally use 24 pics on each vehicle, its the perfect amount to get a good amount of exterior pics and an interior picture for each door panel and each seat and a few random ones. The more detail you can show the better off you'll be. same to the buyers out there look for detail. Good luck to everyone out there. HAPPY BIDDING!!
