This guide is for both sellers and buyers in Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Alaska, US Territories, and the US military with APO or FPO addresses.
It does not cost any extra to ship to the above mentioned locations, so there is absolutely no reason for any seller to charge more. I have been noticing far too many sellers either charging extra or flat out refusing to ship to these areas.
Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and other US territories ARE part of the US so there is no additional cost and no need for a customs form.
APO & FPO addresses also do not cost any more than a standard address, but these packages may need a customs form. I cannot believe how many sellers charge for having to fill out these forms. These men and women in the military are risking their lives serving our country so the least we sellers can do is take 2 minutes to fill out a simple customs form. For those sellers that ship only from home and refuse to ship to military addresses, you can order these customs form from the USPS website. So again, there is no reason to refuse them.
I do believe that most sellers are good and simply don't know this information. So if you are a buyer in these areas, please inform your seller and if they still are going to charge you more, then go and find another seller.
