I JUST LISTED BLUEGRASS DETOUR

My second book as an author from the DPT site, very easy to manage and I loaded my digital rights to this book in twenty minutes. My book was live in twenty five minutes. I had to make some changes and that took one hour to change back to live status. Excellent experience so far with Kindle.

FEES, ROYALTY & UPDATES

Kindle pays 35% total to the author or whoever owns the digital rights. Since I'm my own publisher and author I will see the full 100% 35% profit. Becoming your own publisher by paying the $85 fee at your tax office scratches out the middle man. If I had a publisher they would probably want 20% of that 35%, you can see a huge take here. It could be less or more depending on what publisher your dealing with.

LISTING ON KINDLE----- FREE

35% ROYALTY, NO BOOKS TO PRINT OR S&H,

$3.99 book I can see $1.40 take on a book I'll never have to touch. That's great news for me as an author for the first time, no paper or ink to deal with. My book is new from December 2008, I plan to write four more books just for Kindle.

kindle basic is now $299.00 and I hear the price will drop slightly more.

One week into kindle I already sold my book

My new rank on my book is 70,771 among 300,000 plus books listed. You don't get paid for 90 days but after the 90 day term you get monthly checks direct deposit. For the first time in my authorship I can truely see something here. Bluegrass Detour really took time and effort that book deserves to see the light.

If your listing on Kindle, you need to keep in mind that those readers are upset on some prices. This is a digital book no product just digital, so keep your price down. I would rather get 10,000 $1.40's rather than 100 $6.99's when my book sells. In addition some of the readers at Amazon whnt to boycot any book over $9.99. I do see readers point of view after you pay $299.00 for a Kindle.
