Most new digital cameras come with a tiny memory card or none at all.  I know one organization that spent tens of thousands on digital cameras and didn't think to spend a penny on memory cards.  Now they have dozens of brand new cameras completely full with about 5 pictures on each camera's internal memory.

When buying a new digital camera, ALWAYS buy a decent sized memory card at the same time.  Generally, the 2nd largest memory card available offers a good combination of quality and value.
