ALL ABOUT BINS (Buying It Now)
If you don't want to wait for an auction to end you might want to consider looking only at items that offer buy it now known as BINs.
The item price will be higher than the start price of the auction but you have the advantage of not having the price go any higher if you snap it up at the BIN price.
Sellers like BINs because the buyer has to decide on either buying the item now or taking a chance on bidding and having someone bid higher and win. Indeed, some sellers will offer free shipping if you use the BIN on the item.
When not to use the BIN - If it is in the last few minutes of the auction, I would say not to use the BIN but to go ahead and bid. Bid the highest amount you would for the item as long as the amount is less than the BIN. If you were willing to go higher than the BIN, I would say grab the BIN - you will be getting what to you is a bargain.
FIXED PRICE ITEMS
Fixed price items are another way to go for the buyer who wants their item soon and doesn't want to wait for the auction to end. If you find a seller you like whose items are in the price range you like, check to see if they have an eBay store. Store items are always in the fixed price format.
