I PUT TOGETHER A 1984 FORD F350 4X4 WHICH ORIGIONALLY HAD A 6.9 DIESEL WITH A 4 SPEED GRANNY FIRST T-19A TRANSMISSION. THE 6.9 WAS SHOT SO I BOUGHT A 460 FROM A GUY WHO HAD BOUGHT IT FOR HIS BOAT AND NEVER USED IT. TO THIS DAY I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT WAS ORIGIONAL FOR. WELL I PURCHASSED AN EDELBROCK PERFORMER MANIFOLD AND PLACED A 750 EDELBROCK ON TOP, BUT HERE I WAS WITH A DILEMA. NO WIRING FOR THE FACTORY DISTRIBUTER. SO I PURCHASSED THE 460 HEI DISTRIBUTER 1 WIRE LIKE A CHEVY. ALL I KNOW IS THIS, WITH 31 INCH TIRES I COULDN'T KEEP THE ASS END FROM BREAKING OUT. SO I UPSIZED TO A SET OF HUMMER 4 2 17X37 TIRES ON STOCK DODGE RIMS. NOW THE TRUCK STILL HAS ALL THE POWER I NEED PLUS I AVERAGE 17 MPG AT SPPEEDS 4 OF 98 MPH OR BETTER. EVEN THE MOST DIE HARD CHEVY GUYS ARE IMPRESSED AFTER A RIDE IN BIG BLUE. DID I MEANTION SHE ONLY HAS 26,OOO ORIGIONAL MILES ON THE ODOMETER?
