Hi! It's Not Really as hard as People think to tell Fake A&F from the Real thing: First Off Fake ABERCROMBIE will have a Larger then Normal Moose Emblem on the Polo's(Usually Men's) and the Fraying(As A&F will do with all their Vintage Style Clothes) Looks like it's done with a Knife & Not Grinded Down! Some people think that Older Unraveled A&F is Fake, but in the Early to Mid 2000's A&F offered Their line which had purposely Unraveled stitching on the labels(Inside the collar tag & Outside), also a lot of the button-up shirts never had "ABERCROMBIE & FITCH" Stamped on the buttons up to 4 years ago...and one other thing: If you order from HOLLISTER & A&F online which a lot of overseas persons do(Which I'm based in the US) they come in Poly bags usually with the item# and Sku# & Product "Name". There are ALOT of Sellers that are Selling groups of Two or Three A&F or HOLLISTER T-Shirts for a Crazy Low Price...These are Fake(I know because my wife bought some) and Don't get me wrong the Silk screening was Very Good, but the Inner Tags look Nothing like what the Real Ones Do, also they Majorly Shrink with One Wash!!! Last of all: A lot of people that buy in high volumes from A&F do use stock pictures(I Do Sometimes!), but they most of the time offer secondary pictures that show the inner-tag or the highlights of the item they are selling...Which Is a sign of someone trying proving the Authenticity of the Item!!! The only way to tell if A&F and HOLLISTER stuff is Real is to either purchase it from the store itself or ask for an R.N.# or a CA#...which is always on the inner-tag somewhere!!! Thanks for your time & don't just believe what some sellers are telling you because they want your business...Real sellers prove it in their feedback & description: Mark-------------2008 NEW UPDATE: The Last Few Years A&F and HOLLISTER Clothes that have ZIPPERS: Like...Jeans/Full Zip Fleece Hoodies/Cargo Pants/Track Jackets/Coats & Jackets & Officer Style Pants will always have "A&F"/"A+F"/"Seagull Logo"/"Moose Logo" or "HCO" Stamped Zippers...Not Some other Companies stamping on them(Very Older HCO Jackets will have No Stamping on their zippers at all), also I had a E-Bay Member remind me of another important point...A&F Doesn't make Clothing in the Color Black, and they haven't for about 8 years now!!! Thanks for all your questions & Comments----I Love to stamp out the Fakes & if you have any questions you can feel free to e-mail me through E-Bay & I will do my best to answer them! 2009 Update------- Wow There is Now a Crazy Amount of A&F Rip-Offs out there---I have recently answered quite a few of e-bay Users & I see Sellers offering A&F merchandise with the Inner-Label missing(Mainly Jackets), but with the Stock Sales Tags still Intact...This Doesn't Happen & When an item is Dis-Continued from A&F they will simply put a line through the main Tag or stamp "Discontinued" "Irregular" or "Second" on the inside somewhere, but they will Never leave the Sales Tags on the Item----Again be Very Concerned of Asian Based Sellers(Nothing Personal) & Always Check Sellers Prior Feedback...The Laws Here do Not Apply Overseas-------Summer 2009 Update: Beware of Fake BURMAC Style Cargo Pants & A&F Track Jackets being Sold on E-Bay...The Sellers of these Items Do Not Show any close-up Pictures & Offer to Sell them at a Crazy Low Price, also they are being sold as -New Without Tags- to avoid the obvious fact that they are Fake(Usually they are being shipped from Asia)!!!
