Everyone should be aware of recent scams by someone selling 4 wheelers on ebay. These ads will usually have a photo of a bike at a dealer or aquiantance taht looks very appealing. The seller will have address of @ol or yahoo,etc and ask you to contact them through this address. This is against ebay motors poplicy. It will also give a buy it price in the ad which is different than Buy It Now,beings they want you to transfer money or send it to them without ebays knowledge. I personally have received an invoice from a seller that was an exact replica of an ebay motors invoice right down to the logos,and he wanted me to western union the money foe the bike.Also another giveway is that they are a new user,no other items for sale and very little or no feedbback.If you contact the seller only do it through ebay,and make sure there is a copy of their message in your my ebay messages.After that only pay through ebay motors,and email them to check that it an invoice generated through ebay so your money is protected. REPORT ANY SUSPISCIOUS ADS TO EBAY SINCE THEY HAVE NO SECURITY PRACTICE IN PLACE YET. I HAVE PERSONALLY SAT DOWN AND REPORTED 18 IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS.
