A quick and easy picture tutorial guide to properly pack and ship sports or gaming cards.
1. Always place your card in a soft penny sleeve and then in a rigid top-loader (this is very important for any card you plan on keeping crisp)
2. Place your top-loaded setup into a Re-Sealable team bag along with a hard cardboard insert card (these are the dummy cards that are in 50% of packs of cards you get today) and this will provide you with a non-bendable setup.
3. Next put this into a #000 padded bubble mailer along with a packing peanut (this is added to get the 3/4" thickness needed to add a tracking #) and seal it up.
4. Print out a shipping label preferably from paypal shipping because this will give you a tracking # and save you the time and gas it takes to run to the post office. Also the buyer is automatically emailed and notified that their item has shipped!
This is the easiest way I have found to ship sports cards, and I have shipped alot! It may take a little more time but it will save you from getting bad feedback because of a poor packing/shipping job that gives someone a bent card. Also please do not use tape to close up the top-loader! You run the risk of the card sliding forward and sticking to the tape, thus damaging the card!
