He proposed! You accepted! Now the planning begins! Besides the flowers, the cake, or the music, there is one wedding day task that takes precedence. Finding the perfect gown! There are many wonderful gowns within the covers of the magazines, but it is important to select a gown that will make you feel more beautiful then you already are.

When selecting a gown consider the following things:

• time of day, formal or informal, season
• budget for wedding gown (don't fall prey to champagne wishes, but a beer budget)
• style of wedding day gown (being comfortable is key)

It is important to not get overloaded with to many designs. It would be wise to pick 2 - 3 styles (no more then five) and select from these. Be sure to try on a variety of designs (A-line, ball gown, mermaid) to help decide which ones will be a good look for you. Just because the model looks good, does not mean it will do you justice.
