TODAY ( SATURDAY, July 28, 2007) I GOT AN E-MAIL * From eBay* that said "A Third Party  has access to your account".

      What just happen to me?

• A third party had hacked into my eBay account and were listing auctions.

• So I went to eBay *help* to talk about this problem .( eBay *help*said "we don't have the tools to help you with this you will have to talk to our "security department"

 So they connected me with eBay "security department" and they fixed this problem after 2 hours of talking to them.) 

    ***eBay still doesn't  know who the Third Party is!*** Every time I ask them they say "Were still looking into your case." 

 ~So how dose this happen?  ***Spoof (fake) e-mail*** The e-mai sent to me was about HandBags & JEANS!

~I didn't click on any link that the e-mail had so they must got all my information by me opening the e-mail ~!

   What to do if this happens to you!

1. Go to your PayPal account and delete any Credit Cards you have on file!

2.  Chat with eBay 'Security Department" ! (Remember time you waste is time the hacker could get your PayPal information!)

   *Beware this could happen to you!!!!*

*eBay removed this auction that the third party had listed and also removed all fees that they had under my account.*  So basicly the third party just wanted to sell items under my account*

This is a real problem and it can happen to you!!!!!!!!!!!!

In this case the only thing I lost was (worry) it could have been 10x worse!

*How to help prevent this form happening to you*

 * Change your password ever 3 months.* Make a very strong password.

 * Never click on a link sent by an e-mail!*

 * If you suspect active in your account turn this problem over  to eBay ASAP!

           **Protect yourself from things like this happening to you.**

  This happened to me and I am a Southern Girl living in Kentucky. It can happen to anybody!

                  IT WOULD MEAN SO MUCH TO ME IF YOU WOULD VOTE BECAUSE I WANT TO HELP SPREAD THE WORD OF EBAY HACKERS!
