Here's a simple guide to late night buying on eBay. You will get a better deal, more often than not, by buying whatever you're looking for at late night on eBay. In those hours, especially from 1am - 5am (time zone adjusted), many people are sleeping, so you will often have less competition in the bidding. Some people will also have put in their best price before going to sleep or even earlier - so you can come in and bid on the auction in the last few minutes in an attempt to win it - often with little competition - as long as you give yourself enough time and your bid is high enough. This may not be the case however, if you are going after a hot item - in which there may be others staying up late just like you to try and get a good deal. More often than not though, you will almost always get a much better deal at night than during day hours when more bidders tend to be active. This can definitely come in handy if you are also looking to buy items for re-sale. I have seen numerous auctions where the exact same item goes for a mugh higher ending price during the day and early evening, when bidding can be more active, than at night.
Good Luck & Good Bidding.
