Everyone knows what it's like to have your hair done at the salon and wish that it would stay that way forever. For some people, getting their hair done is only something they do when absolutely neccessary. For others, it is a treat, something they do simply to feel good about the way they look, and something they don't mind splurging on. But, I think most of you would love to be able to reproduce the same look at home. Creating the same look that your stylist gives you at home requires the proper tools, products and patience. Pay attention to your stylist while getting your hair done. What shampoo do they reccommend for your hair? What products did they use? Did they style your hair with a brush, and if so, was it small, large, round or flat? Did they use styling products, and where? Pay close attention to what they do from the beginning to the end. Don't be afraid to ask questions and even take notes. If you don't have the same products at home, buy them! There is a reason hair stylists use them! Don't be afraid to call your stylist for help, or to schedule a "blow dry lesson". Any good stylist will be happy to help you recreate the look. After all, you are advertising for them! Last but not least, practice makes perfect. Don't be too hard on yourself if you don't get it the first time. This will become easier with time. Get ready for the new improved you!
