A Guide to Star Wars Legos
The Star Wars Legos game is a third-person action video game rated E for Everyone by the ESRB Rating Board. It can be played on a host of platforms, including Game Boy Advance, Xbox, Windows, and PlayStation 2. The game was developed by several different companies, including Giant Entertainment, Traveller's Tales and Eidos Interactive.
Of course, while a number of different firms had a hand in adapting the Star Wars Legos video game for release, Lucas Arts controlled its dissemination and publishing date to coincide with the release of the final film in the latest Star Wars trilogy, Revenge of the Sith.
All told, you can play 50 different characters in the Lego Star Wars game. These figures range from well-known characters from the movie like Darth Maul, General Grievous, and Count Dooku to more subordinate figures like TC-14, Jango Fett, and Geonosis. If you choose the free play option, you can switch amongst various characters and get extra points and find cool side pockets for various levels that you can't access with particular characters. (E.g. young Anakin Skywalker can crawl into otherwise inaccessible places).
The Legos Star Wars game also offers players the opportunity to pair good guys and bad guys for special missions. Jedis can achieve special tactics by using the Force. Siths can also manipulate the Force to their evil ends. Favorites from the original trilogy do make appearances. Obi-Wan Kenobi, Boba Fett, and R2D2 all see action in the Star Wars Lego video game.
