A Guide to Star Wars Legacy of the Force

The legacy of the force book series is a 9 book
arch story written by three authors.  Karen Traviss,
Troy Denning, and Aaron Allston.  The first book was
released in May, 2006.  The last book in the series
is due in June, 2008.

The Legacy of the Force series takes place 40 years
after the battle of Yavin.  The series finds that
the galaxy is reeling under the Galactic Alliance
and systems like Corellia that feel oppressed.

The series follows the galaxy as it takes sides
with either the Alliance or Corellia.  These
decisions split the Skywalker and Solo families
as well as heroes of the Rebellion.

The series also re-introduces some interesting
characters and chronical the fall of Jacen
Solo to the Dark Side of the force.  Eventually,
he will follow in his Grandfather's footsteps
and become a Dark Lord of the Sith.

This is an interesting series.  We get to see
dramatic changes in all the major characters that
we have grown up with.  I'm really hooked with
this series.  I cannot wait to go to my book
store and pick up Sacrifice tomorrow!
