What is Peacocking and why is it important?

Peacocking - is all about social wealth, not monetary wealth. This is excitingly attractive to women if executed the right way. It draws attention, demonstrates self-confidence and individuality, it's definitely DIFFERENT. Not like the thousands of men that have hit on her since she was 20. Only a few of them actually stood out. I am not getting into outfits or clothing just the jewelry aspect of peacocking.

There is much less social risk involved with jewelry than with flashy or outlandish outfits and articles of clothing. This article does not discuss peacocking pertaining to clothes.

Keep these things in mind while preparing your self:

  •  Is it related to or appropriate for the venue you are going to
  •  Does it reflect or strengthen your identity / personality
  •  Does it have something interesting to it that a woman could comment on
  •  Is it fashionable and/or unique

Make sure these items are congruent to your personality. That they enhance or identify your style / persona. I have a sense of style that I am constantly commented on and enjoy helping those around me kick up their game a few notches and watch them grow.

On with the flashy stuff.

Your jewelry, all of it will be scrutinized by every woman you talk to and even those who may quickly look you over. You know how women are much more observant than men and will make judgements about you based on your appearance, clothes, posture, shoes, etc. You can bet she is looking at your jewelry and making further assumptions about you as well.

As conversation goes along she will generally make a comment about a ring, a bracelet, watch, etc. This is your opportunity to share something with her like a story about the specific piece, etc., to further create rapport with her.            (No Rapport = Nothing More)

Also called Props, this is an easy crutch for you to use, so use it to your advantage. If you do not have any stories then make some up and practice telling them to a lampshade. Each little piece that can make you more interesting will go a long way in her eyes and besides, you must be an interesting guy!

I will post a guide about storytelling soon, so check back. It will be worth your effort!

Pick up some unique jewelry and wear it wisely,

make yourself feel better and have fun.

Watch or bracelet or both? Go with one or the other. I like the metaphor KISS- Keep It Simple Stupid. If you are wearing a unique watch during the day (so you will know if she is late or not) change into a charming bracelet for the evening. When the same woman notices that you have all this interesting jewelry it will create a more interesting image in her mind. (DON'T BE PREDICTABLE, change up what you wear, with regular fashion!) This is solely based on your personal style.

The bracelet is such a great prop: Women like bracelets and are very willing to share their affinity with you. It gives her something to easily compliment you on. When she does make sure you are ready to share an interesting story about it with her. Think and practice, I can't stress this enough. When the moment is there, share your story, share yourself! (More on this in an upcoming guide.)

The timepiece: Very conventional and for the most part, lame. Every guy has one. So if you wear one go for it and make it an eye-catching piece congruent with your personality. I only have a few watches but each one serves a great purpose. I highly advise you do the same should you wear a watch.

The necklace: The one piece that women will use to identify or judge something of you (outside of your shoes). So choose carefully and again have a storyline ready to go so you can further charm her.

An example, the gold chain with a coin or eagle hanging on it. Masculine right? Sure, but very common also. The most basic chains with an interesting pendant on them or something pushing the envelope is much better because it serves as a different interesting piece. Whether it really means anything or not is totally up to you and how you use it.

Hints for wear in general

> For the casual dress shirt/designer shirt, you want the first two buttons open: It should ride high at least 2 fingers above your sternum or about 3 inches or so less than a choker chain so it is viewable and usable.

> Open shirt or shirtless allows you to display longer chains such as dog tags, double chains with or without charms, leather strand with pendant, etc.

Rings are an excellent source for stories. I rarely buy mine from the same place twice. If you want "different" rings then I suggest you search the net extensively and try cheapies before you sink any worthy money into any one ring or a set. Pinkie rings are good as well as thumb rings. Try them both.

Earrings: If you wear them, stick with small studs unless you can pull off anything louder and is congruent with your personality.

Bottom Line

All your jewelry should be congruent with one another. In other words, no gaudy gold chains and then a flashy steel or silver bracelet on your arm.

I have a large collection of jewelry and always get compliments my "unique and different" items. You can bet that there are all kinds of stories for the things I wear. At first it was a crutch and didn't even realize it but I have done this for so long it is just part of what I do, it works great and I thoroughly enjoy it. It's all in fun.

A final word

I buy and sell jewelry because it allows me a nice collection for any occasion at a lower cost than retail. By buying in bulk my costs go down, so I sell to acquaintances, some consignment, and place various items on eBay to help recoup my investments.

Honestly, this is more of a hobby than something that makes money, just compare my prices. If you would like a specific piece or "something similar", I will try to hunt it down for you from the wholesalers I deal with. Just drop me a line and I'll try to help you in what spare time I have. If I can't get it I probably know where you can find it.

I would share more with you but...

If you found this guide informative or useful, please be as kind to vote "Yes" for it. There is alot of work involved in something as simple as eBay and your Thanks are greatly appreciated.
