A Guide to Naruto and Buying Naruto Items on eBay

Naurto  is a relatively old manga created in Japan in 1999. It has seen widespread adoption in the United States and elsewhere in the world due its excellent story telling, plot and action packed stories. The story focuses around the main character of the series, Naruto Uzumaki , who is plagued but several intersting character flaws.

The anime which most people in the states are familar with for the most part does not deviate from the the manga plot and story arcs. Unlike most other animes shown in the US Naruto episodes are still being produced and being shown for the first time in Japan, meaning that we have quite some time before we run out of material to be shown here in the states.

The American, English language version of Naruto began to be producast last year in 2005 and has a huge flowing amongst youth ages 8-17. The show is broadcasted on the CCartoon Network during the Toonami programing block.

A box set of Naurto DVD was released in the United States on July 4th and you can find copies of this set here on eBay. This box set contains uncensored versions of the Naurto show with Japanese and English dubbing as well as english subtitles for Anime purists.

A series of DVD's is also being released by Naurto's creators. Unlike the box set these DVD's are censored and contain the english only translations of the cartoon series.

You can also find Japanese and American versions of the Manga on eBay as well. These are the comicbooks which the series is based on. I'd recommend getting the American version of these books unless you know Japanese or enjoy looking at pictures.
