The beauty of henna is that it is not permanent. This is a natural product that has been perfected by the Indian people over hundred of years. They use it for religious ceremonies like weddings where the bride with have intricate henna tattoos all over her hands. There is now a way though that everyone can benefit from the great uses for henna. This is thanks to a company called S2 International. This company promotes and supplies henna tattoo kits, pastes, shampoos, conditioner, neutral henna oils, books, stencils and much more.

The most important point that you must keep in mind while using henna is that there should be no usage of water right from the start to the end, and even after the whole process is over try to keep the area where you have applied henna away from water. Henna works on the top layers of the skin, it basically stains them and that’s how you obtain the color that you see on the surface of your body. Now if this portion of the hand comes in contact with water, especially hot water it will cause the skin to exfoliate. That way the layers of the skin that have been stained by the henna will flake away soon. This is why you should actually use coffee or tea mixed with water to make your paste, Otherwise the ready made pastes from S2 International work wonderfully well at giving you a long lasting dark color.

If you want to dye your hair, S2 International will also help you. They not only have henna hair dyes in various shades, but they have developed the perfect range of shampoos and conditioner using henna that will make your hair healthy shiny and allow the color to be stronger for longer. These can be neutral henna products which will not act as a dye, but just offer a conditioning effect.
