Ebay can be a place to purchase brand new shoes at wonderful prices.  Consider that you may receive up to 50% or even more off your favorite shoes, boots, sandals or sneakers.  There are items from around the world to choose from and knowing what to look for in different styles may indeed help you to select just the right shoe for you.

1.  Know your foot:  You may or may not be familiar with the brand your ebay seller is displaying or how their sizes run, so it is most iportant to read the description the seller had written.  Things like size conversion, whether they run large or small, wide or narrow will be stated.  If you are unsure, ask the seller for a measurement of length, width or both so you can determine the best fit for you by comparing with a similarly constructed shoe your already own.  You can also familiarize yourself with International size conversion to start with and follow recommendations from your seller.

2.  Style:  Every foot is different and finding the best styles for your foot can help you take a step in the right direction.  If your foot tends to be slightly wide styles that have on strap straight across the top of your foot may not be a good choice for you.  If you have trouble walking with very high heels on but still want a bit of a heel, look for wedges or kitten heels that are 2" or under to give the look you seek.  Have you found a seller that carries many of the items you look for?  Check in their store and you may find many offer a newsletter sign-up where you can be the first alerted to new stock and sales!

3.  Materials:  You will find every type right here on ebay, from cloth and raffia espadrilles & fur mukluk boots to fine Italian leather or manmade vegan products.  Look for a description of what type materials make up the shoes you are interested in.

4.  Brands:  Ebay has all the brands you are looking for from : old favorites like 9 West, Aerosoles and Enzo Angiolini ; boutique and fine European footwear like Essere, Dolce & Gabbana and Miu Miu, the fabulous new trendy designers like Juno, Irregular Choice & Naughty Monkey, fabulous handcrafted fur boots and lots more in between.

5.  Searching:  Sometimes when you are looking for something it seems so many items come up at once it is hard to find what you really want.  Here are a few tips to hopefully save you time - use the item specifics on the left side in seach, use your size in the search, looking for new, try adding that or NIB (new in box in ebay speak), color, heels, flats it all narrows the results.  If I wanted a pair of "Aerosoles Brown Moccasins NIB 6" that is just what I will type in and hopefully just what I will find.

6.  Shipping, payments and other necessary info:  Once you have found what you desire please be sure to check out what payment methods are available to you, the shipping quote for your area and any other important information supplied in the listing.  This will ensure that both you and your seller are on the same page as far as what is going to happen with the transaction.
