A good skincare program begins with cleanse/tone.  There are so many things out there that it is hard to decide what is good for you!  The most important things in a facial cleanser is to get something that is good for your skintype and that is made for facial skin.  Also, make sure that you like the feel and scent of the cleanser! 

If you are trying to save money then this is the best step to do so.  A facial cleanser needs to clean your face without robbing it of moisture or leaving trace residue of other ingredients.  A bar of soap will do just that; even facial soap.  The chemicals that are added to get its bar shape will stay on your face and cause clogged pores.  Handsoap usually has strong ingredients meant to kill the large amount of bacteria your hands come in contact with everyday.  Ingredients that are too strong for your face. 

Toners are not necessary for everyone.  A general rule is if you use one and find that there is trace makeup and dirt on the cottonball then you should be using one.  A second rule is if you feel any stinging sensation while using a toner (tingling is okay - stinging is not) then do not use one.

OILY SKIN

• Mark Let's Be Clear Blemish Neutralizing Cleanser:  Formulated to treat teenage acne.  Oil-free, gel cleanser.  Contains Salicylic Acid.  Can use Cleans-it Blemish Neutralizing Toner pads after cleansing.  Retails for $5.50 alone or $10.50 with the toner pads.
• Clearskin Dual Action Anti-Bacterial Cleanser:  Formulated to treat teenage acne.  Can use cleansing pads after cleansing.  Retails for $5 or $9.28 with the cleansing pads. 

NORMAL OR OILY SKIN ( OR COMBINATION)

• ANEW Retroactive 2 in 1 Cleanser:  Formulated especially for those using an anti-aging skincare regimen.  Cleanses and tones.  Uses Rejuvi-Cell Repair technology.  Retails for $12.

NORMAL SKIN

• Keep It Clean Multi Vitamin Cleanser:  Water-activated so you need to use water when you massage it in.  Uses Vitamins A, C, and E.  A cool gel cleanser.  Can use the Keep it Fresh Toner after cleansing.  Retails for $6 or $12 with the toner.
• Mark Clean Machine Megavitamin Cleanser:  Gel based.  Contains Vitamins A, C, and E.   Retails for $5.50
• Clearskin Purifying Gel Cleanser:  Formulated to treat teenage acne.  Foaming gel cleanser.  Can use purifying astrigent after cleansing.  Retails for $4.29 or $8.58 with the astrigent.

DRY SKIN

• Clean Cream:  Removes waterproof mascara.  Can be tissued off or rinsed with water.  Uses Vitamins A, C, and E.  Retails for $7.
• Replenish Cream Cleanser:  Formulated for mature skin.  Contains collagen & elastin.  Retails for $7.
• ANEW Ultra Cream Cleanser:  Formulated especially for those using an anti-aging skincare regimen.  Very gentle.  Can be tissued off or rinsed with water.  Uses Moisture Retention Compound and Oxa-Acid.  Can be followed with Anew Clarifyng Essence toner.  Retails for $12 or $24 with the toner.

Ingredient List:

1. Alpha Hydroxy Acid - Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by removing dry, flaky, dead cells from the surface of the skin.  Can also stimulate the production of collagen in the skin.
2. Beta Hydroxy Acid - acid extracts that chemically exfoliate the top layer of skin. They have the same effect as AHAs, but they're less irritating.
