During my short time as an Ebay member I have learned that there are two types of people on Ebay! Honest and Dishonest! That being said I have kind of come up with a way of telling weather the people I am buying DVD movies off of is selling a real of fake(copy or burnt) DVD!

FEEDBACK, FEEDBACK, FEEDBACK!!!! Always check the feedback, look for negative feedback and read it! If they have more than one in the last month, NO WAY there are lots of other honest sellers out there! I also NEVER buy anything from anyone who has blocked their feedback. If you don't have anything to hide then why hide your feedback? Feedback is there for you to know what kind of person you are buying off of! The next thing I look at is weather it says that it comes with the hard case and cover art or not. If it dosen't email the seller and ask why. If they want you to pay more then $3 shipping it should include the case(it dosen't cost but a few cents more to ship the case unless it's overseas).

The next thing I look at is the sellers wording! If they seem vague or unclear about the movies condition or why it dosen't come with a case! MOVE ON! There are lots of honest sellers as a said before! The last thing I do is email the seller. No response! DON'T BID! An honest seller will alway answer your questions and be helpful because they want your business and will bend over backwards to help you.

When you get your DVD it is very easy to tell if it is real or fake! Take your fingernail and try to push on the top like you are scraping a sticker off of something if it has a sticky label IT'S FAKE!! They now have new writers that actually laser the label on but they are very very dark and not clear like what you would find on a real DVD. Alot of the fake ones from overseas are like this. It's really very simple to tell.

I am writing this to keep others from getting taken advantage of like I have been. When I first started buying DVD's on Ebay for my son three out of eight I bought were fakes. I was very upset and realized the only way to get rid of the conartist is to get informed and to inform others. So be aware and always report to Ebay when you get a fake. It is a very serious crime to sell copies of movies that are copyrighted. So use these few steps and we can all be sure that the movies we get are the real thing.
