We at YardSharks take pride in packing your precious vintage items with skill and care and with enough good quality packing material to pass the "football test" because we all know that's the way most packages are handled--fragile or not. We do not gouge on shipping, and we charge what it costs us to get your item to you "alive." Priority mail is a great service. It is reliable and fast. Your items get to you quickly and seem to be handled better than parcel post, which is a service that is nearly extinct. For larger, heavy or bulky items we use FedEx ground home delivery. They include insurance in the price of shipping up to $100 of value, and are cheaper than the post office and UPS. We've honed our shipping process through years of experience and thousands of items successfully sent. The law of averages dictates that once in a while something will be lost or broken. We deal with each incident on an individual basis, but will work with you to the best of our ability. In general international items are "buy at your own risk." Finally, the thing to remember about any shipper is this: If they can break it, they will--even if it's not breakable, they'll find a way! Therefore every effort must be made to assure safe arrival of your items, and that includes paying a little more to get it faster, more securely and in one piece.
