I have just recently started selling some jewelry that I own and no longer wear.  At a loss for what to use to display some necklaces and bracelets that I wanted to take some pictures of to list, I eyed my daughter's birthday present....a large Barbie head where you can do her makeup and hair.

I just put a necklace around her neck, or a bracelet on her wrist, and voila!!  I think it displays the jewelry rather nicely.  I even displayed the pretty silver-tone anklet that is pictured below.

I need a little more practice taking pictures of jewelry items, but I do think that this is a creative way to show off jewelry that you're selling, especially when you don't have a mannequin or someone to model for you.

I look forward to experimenting more with jewelry photography.
