The Origin of Tea

It is said that over 5,000 years ago, 2327 BC, Chinese Emperor Shen Nung was strolling in his garden on a breezy afternoon. As he took in the day, he sipped a bowl of hot water (water was always boiled as a health precaution).
A leaf from a near by bush blew into his bowl and created a brown brew. Nung, a scientist, herbalist and inventor, observed the dark infusion and decided to try it. Nung found the beverage to his liking, and according to lore, Nung proclaimed the drink medicinal.
It soon became a popular medicinal tonic all over China. Teaphoria tea from China
