With the spring loaded type,  you have to deal with trying to remove the gross and smelly body, if you want to reuse the trap. Glue Traps, I have found, don't always stick to the mouse, and when they get hot, the glue gets thin and runs, makes a huge mess. Once my CAT, while trying to get to a mouse, got her PAWS stuck in the glue. What an ordeal it was, to get her unstuck! NO more worrying about your small kids, getting snapped by the spring traps. And NO Poison! Mice LOVE little passages, it is in thier nature, to snoop in tunnels, investigate boxes etc. These traps, look like a box, have 2, one way entrance tunnels. Put something fragrantly enticing inside, they go check it out. NO Misfires of traps, they enter but cannot exit. And it is big enough to catch MORE than one. Where a spring trap will only catch one mouse at a time. Also if you check your Victor Tin Cat frequently, you can re-release the critter, if you don't wanna kill it, into a field. OR just leave them be for a while.. the mouse will die, and you can just open it up and dump it in the waste basket. NO tough springs to pull back, risking snapping those fingers to dispose of the body. Rinse out, add new bait and re locate. The Clear Top makes it easy to see, if you caught something.
