Lately I've been asked what type of eBay business I run from my home. Most people assume that I run a 'drop shipping business' and that's understandable seeing as I have so much time off during the day now.
The thing is though, there are at least 9 different ways you can run an eBay business that I'm aware of so no matter how much time you have, how much money you have, or how much effort you want to put into growing your eBay business...there's something to suit everyone here.
Here they are.
1. You can be an eBay hobbiest
2. You can become an international drop shipper
3. You can become an eBay Trading Asssistant
4. You can run a consignment business
5. You can own a drop off store
6. You can make a great living with eBay Arbitrage
7. You can buy all your inventory from Wholesalers
8. You can import direct from manufacturers overseas
9. You can sell your own hard products, digital products or professional services
My advise is this.
Make sure you pick a way that's going to fit in with YOUR lifestyle. You don't want to be a slave to it.
Maybe you might pick more than one way?
Whatever you do...give it some thought and it's always a good idea to work out roughly how much income you'd like to make and then work out which selling method will help you achieve your goals in the fastest way while still enjoying the journey.
Once you've worked out your selling method, you can get on with growing your lucrative eBay business.
As for me, the only reason that I have so much time off during the day now is this. My business is 85% automated now because it's very systemised. It's the only way to get 'time' back. I'm not interested in growing a massive business selling a thousand products. I like to pick a niche and stick with that.
For you, the choice is yours and yours alone.
Who knows...maybe you might try a couple of different methods before you come up with the best way for you.
