Can you believe that 85% of Women are wearing the wrong size bra? You may be one of them. Five common bra fitting problems that can be solved with the proper bra. Here they are:

1. NOT ENOUGH LIFT

   The solution is a bra that is soft but still sculpts. It will offer definition without feeling restrictive. Most firm-fitting bras are more comfortable because they don't shift around on your body. The bras with underwires offer the best lift and support and with the proper fit you won't even feel the wire.

2. SPILLAGE

   The problem here is overflowing cups. You need a bra that will contain the breasts without riding up the back or one that causes bulges that are visible. The solution is a soft cup and deeper V bra. You need a bra with sturdy construction for the best support and definition and a deeper V for better separation, the key for fuller figures. This type of bra can smooth the back when it is properly positioned and level across the back. Strong bras with firm support can also be pretty and sexy.

3. SPACE SAVERS

   Not the right fit when you get a gap between the skin and the bra. The solution is a smooth, padded bra with a smaller band. With a narrow back and a full bust you should go down a band size and up a cup size or two. The size of the band effects the size of the cup. When you go up in band size, you get an extra inch in the cup. So try a smaller band size and a large cup. Dont be afraid to experiment with your size and different styles.

Remember: Your bra band should fall halfway between your elbow and shoulder.

4. SHAPE AND STYLE

   Don't limit your bra wardrobe. Wear the right bra for the right outfit. That means exercise bras for working out, strapless bras for strapless tops, push ups for shape and cleavage, etc. The solution for shape and style is a demi-cup. This one pushes up and in from the sides giving a fuller but natural look. With a leaner line you will look good in your clothes.

Remember: Investing in a quality bra makes a big difference. A good bra, washed in a mesh bag and air-dryed, should last about 2-3 years.

5. SUPPORT SYSTEMS

   The problem is frequently falling straps and it can be annoying. The solution is a smaller band size. About 90% of your support comes from the band. If it fits correctly and securely, the rest of the bra will stay in place, including the straps. A contour style also provides more lift and shape while keeping everything in its place.

Remember: In general, bras with seams offer the best support and shape. And padding has nothing to do with good support.

THREE STEPS TO THE PERFECT FIT:

Step One: Before fastening your bra, bend deeply at the waist to center and distibute breasts evenly within the cup. After you fasten the hooks,  the straps should sit comfortably on your shoulders. Most support comes from the band, which should sit firmly in place.

Step Two: But a size that fits snugly, even on the loosest hook, that way, when the band stretches out over time, you can gradually tighten it.

Step Three: If there is a major gap between the bra and your body, try a smaller cup size.  If you're bulging out of the bra, go up a cup size. Smooth out puckering skin by running your finger along the top of the cup
