I'm a 82 year young active ham radio operator and since I found E Bay, through my grandson  I've successfully searched for and found 6 items ranging from a linear amplifier to microphone plugs on EBay.  No purchase has been unsatisfactory. It took 18 bids to finally obtain a MC-50 Kenwood microphone for my old TS-830 Kenwood Transciever.  The point is this you have to be persistent--keep on searching, keep what you want on your favorites list and carefully examine thwe article before bidding. Be sure the seller has a good reputation Ask questions. I always did to make sure I got what I was looking for.  I like Ebay so much and have had had such a good experience with it that E Bay comes up 1st after my mailbox in my bootup! Good luck fellow ham ops! K4fnu
