"Next-Generation"?......I THINK NOT

Is "Next-Gen" really worth it? ($Cost$)

Although Next-Gen graphics look really amazing just face it; the Next-Gen systems are just too exspensive. A "Next-Gen" setup can be anywhere from $1000.00 usd to $20,000.00 usd. Think about it an X-box 360 can be $300.00 usd or more and then if you want to make the game experience what it should be you should buy an HDTV (high definition television), witch run from $200.00 usd to even $15000.00 usd for some TV's. Let's face it "Next-Gen" fad is just too exspensive to get the most out of it! Who wants to spend more than $1000.00 to play a cool new game!

Current systems are still coming out with games!

Even though the next generation of video games are here, develepors are still making games for the current systems such as Gamecube,Xbox and Playstation 2. So why throw your system or systems out the door when games are still being made for it! Plus game on current systems are cheaper than the ones on the next generation of consoles. I say keep your system till you think it is the right time to sell and upgrade.

Bugs glitches and what else?

Everybody knows that if a new system or product comes out on the market there is a high possiblity to have it be bugged or it is not working properly. Tons of people who bought the X-BOX 360 when it first hit the stores were dissapointed when they plugged it in and had it crash on them! My advice is wait till the system has worked out it's production errors so that you are not one of those people. Either that or just wait for the price to drop dramaticly or a new smaller version of system is produced.

Games really that more updated?

To be honest the games are basicly the same as they have always been. The storylines of next-gen games may be somewhat more indepth, but sports and racing games are the same. Graphics are much upgraded but theese games are basicly a current gen game with next-gen graphis. Plus games that came out on 360 some of them also came out for original        X-box so don't fret about not playing a game!

Are you really that devoted?

If you plan on spending tons of money on next-generation video entertainment setups and hardware then be my guest. But if you are an average player who likes to kick back with a few friends and play games a few hours a week then this kinda thing isn't really for you! This kinda stuff wiil be more for the average game in a few years or two but for now keep yer' old system!
