5 Ways to Get Your Family Active In Summer

Here are 5 easy ways to get your family active during summer.
- Buy a Family Set of Mountain Bikes: You can get used mountain bikes for basically nothing and riding around town is a great form of Aerobic exercise.
- Go to the Playground: You can create a great body-weight workout that your family can do together; it’s like a mini-Bootcamp. Or you can just spend time swinging on the swings and climbing on the jungle gym.
- Build an Obstacle Course in your Backyard: Building an Obstacle Course can be cheap, easy, and fun. You can challenge a neighbour or another family to an Obstacle Course battle. Spending time building the course will burn calories, but so will using it.
- Play Tag: If you have a big enough yard you can play tag, or you can go to the local playground and play tag there. The best places to play have tons of obstacles to hide behind when you get tired.
- Buy Some Pump Paintball Guns: Pump Paintball Guns are cheap and Paintball in the forest is one of the best workouts you can do. Just make sure you set boundaries and have a way to communicate if you get lost.
