About 5 Star ratings on feebacks for sellers -

We have not sold anything on ebay for quiet some time. We have bought and sold many things in the past on Ebay, however, we have not sold anything on our account since the 5 star rating. The 5 star rating is great if used properly. It also helps buyers see how well the seller conduct business. Make sure when you do leave feedback to also highlight 'click' the stars they deserve.  

Understand the 5 Star Rating

1st. Items described - if the item was described as stated then highlight/click all the stars ( they will turn yellow).

2nd. Communication - if the seller is communicatiing with you great - buyer check your junk mail-if you are not getting mail from the seller your junk filter might be on - we ran into that when we sold.

3rd. Shipping Time - check the description, they will tell you when they mail out packages (most people have daily jobs), once the packages are in the post offices hands, seller has no control.

4th. Shipping & Handling - This is where the seller might add additional charges, hidden charges, combined item charges - WE do not do this in our auctions. This is were people get the 'Shipping Time' and 'Shipping & Handling' confused. Most people think it is the same thing and they are totally different.

Make sure you communicate that is so important...Most people are very easy to deal with, as long as you are communicating with them.

I know from experience about mailing an item to Houston, Tx from Fairview Hgts, IL normally you think 'Oh' it should normally take 3 to 4 days in my case, I was wrong. It took a week to get there and that was regular mail. I live 20 minutes from down town St. Louis. When the package arrived in Texas, it was stamped by the post office a week ago from delivery. If you are sending regular mail, just be patient or buyer pay for confirmation. This really is a no brainer. Sellers are very easy to deal with most of the time as long as there is communication.

We love buying/selling here on ebay - this is one of our hobbies.

Also, when you are buying digital  eBooks, templates, tutorials items on ebay, I just don't understand how people will give a 3 star or a 4 star rating on shipping time. It is digital!

If someone is making a template for you, they have to make some adjustments to your store or auctions by putting your name in it to make it personal for you. If you give them less then a 5 on the star rating, on shipping time. I just don't understand. If you are trying to retrieve the item then ask for help otherwise it is pretty easy. Just don't make this 5 star rating harder then it really is.

Where is the old saying? Treat others how you would like to to be treated.
