5 Things Ebay Buyers Need to Know.
1. we (Sellers) DO NOT OWN THE POST OFFICE. Once we ship out items, we are NO LONGER Responsible if the Post office loses packages, someone there steals them, damages packages especially large packages, ships according to their schedules (NOT YOURS). Large, heavy packages are sometimes delayed due to holidays, weekends, time of day, terrorists attacks around the world etc. If YOU as a Buyer is impatient you should ask that your order be shipped in another way say UPS, Fedex, priority. Of course it will cost YOU more, but you can be guaranteed of a quick delivery. I had one lady you purchased from me leave nuetral feedback for an item she claimed was damaged. It was not damaged when I mailed it off. I offered to fix the problem she refused to send me the packaging back so I could take it to the post office to complain. I always wonder if she was just having a bad day, just miserable and want others to be miserable, or if she was not being truthful.
2. LEARN SOME COMMUNICATION SKILLS Before leaving feedback. Some buyers really need to learn to meaning of the words: CONTACT THE SELLER (Email). If you are not satisfied with your order for any reason try contacting the Seller first before leaving nuetral/negative feedback. 99% of the time the Seller you purchased from will do all they can to fix the problem.
3. Don't leave feedback on days that YOU are having a Bad day. You might by being angry not try to resolve issue with the Seller first.
4. ASK BEFORE YOU BID. this is MOST IMPORTANT. If your country does not accept Paypal, then don't bid on items outside your country. I had one person buy one of my cds then after the auction ended. Told me her country (Romania) did not accept paypal. I offered other payment alternatives, but she never paid. If this person would have simply sent an email before bidding she would have known I only accept Paypal for buyers outside the USA.
5. READ THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING. I am surprised at how many people do not read the complete description before buying. Buyers can save themselves alot of aggrevation if they just READ the Whole description before bidding.
I hope this information helps Buyers to improve relationships with Sellers. You make our businesses possible on Ebay.
