There was a real flurry of 4WD utility vehicles on ebay within the past 60 days selling for approximately $5000.  John Deere, Polaris, Yamaha, etc., all 'brand-new' with only a couple of hrs. on the engine (usually a diesel).  Market value of these really neat little vehicles is about $10-14,000, but the seller(s) have coincidentally all moved to Holland or similar European country and require you to wire money to an 'eBay agent' located in England.  Two different sellers had both just recently been given the 4x4's to them by their father-in-laws, but it was just too expensive to ship to Europe.  I really enjoyed playing the game with them to see how much information I could glean and still have the private emails of several of these thieves on file and will be glad to pass them along to eBay if anyone's interested.  Like they say, "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is..."
