Yummy Apple Season Recipes * DIP * Cake * * *Applesauce **

I love fall & visits to the local apple farms to pick your own apples!

Here are 3 simple apple recipes for all those apples you picked!

CREAM CHEESE APPLE DIP

This dip is easy to make &  people just go crazy over it. Serve in a pretty apple shaped serving dish or a fall leaves shaped dish.

You will need:

  • 1 package of cream cheese softened
  • 1 jar Mrs. Richardsons Butterscotch Carmel Topping ( or another brand of carmel ice cream topping)
  • chopped peanuts
  • Sliced apples

Simply layer softened cream cheese in serving dish, cover with carmel sauce & sprinkle peanuts on top. Serve with apple slices to dip into the dip.So Good!

FRESH APPLE CAKE

You will need:

  • 4 cups diced apples
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 1 cup nuts of choice

Beat eggs, add apples, sugar, salt, soda, cinnamon, oil, and flour. Fold in well. add nuts.

Grease and flour a 9" x 12" pan or use cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve with whipped cream or ice cream. Enjoy!

VERY EASY APPLESAUCE!

You will need:

  • 6-8 tart apples, peeled, cored and quartered
  • 1/2 cup water
