Below are 3 easy tips for newer Ebay sellers to help save on listing fees.
-
1.) You will want to research the items that you are selling. This can be easily done by using Ebays advanced search option. By clicking on view completed items only and putting in a breif description of the item you are going to be selling. This will bring up all of the recent closed auctions for the item you are looking for. From here you can research the best starting price (you don't want to start the auction too high), the best catagory for the item, days, times, etc. Having your item sell the first time it is listed helps in relisting fees.
-
2.) If your item sells and you have more than one of the items available, use Ebays second chance offers for the bidders that have been outbid. Using this option you can sell more than one of the same items and only have to pay final value fees rather and will save you on listing fees.
-
3.) If you item does not sell, rather than putting a new auction of the same item back on, use the relist option on your My Ebay page. First check over your auction and see if you can find why the item did not receive any bids and revise the auction if need be. Then use the relist option. You will be charged listing fees at first, but if your item DOES sell this second time, you will recieve a refund on the listing fees.
These are just 3 little tips to help cut down on selling fees that can occur. Hope it helps out. Enjoy!
