The Nissan GT-R is one of the most revered sports cars in the world. Nissan's first Supercar will be introduced to the US market this year as a 2009 model. With its combination of aggressive design and advanced technology, Nissan’s first entry into the Supercar category will compete very well against the Porsche 911 Turbo and Corvette Z06. Unlike other Supercars, the Nissan GT-R does not need to be constrained to the track nor driven only by trained performance drivers; it is truly a Supercar that can be enjoyed by anyone, anytime, anywhere.

The Power plant of the 2009 GT-R is a 3.8 liter V6 twin turbo engine that produces 480 hp and 433 lbft of torque that can accelerate the vehicle from 0-60 mph in an estimated 3.3 seconds. Formula 1 style paddle shifters can be used to shift the 6-speed dual clutch automated transmission between gears in an impressive 0.2 seconds. The all wheel drive system utilizes a sophisticated electronic system to better manage torque delivery. Additionally, the transmission, suspension and vehicle dynamic control system can accommodate every drivers’ preferences and enhance the driving experience by providing driver selectable modes.

For track enthusiasts, the GT-R provides attractive features including leather sport seats, a multifunction display and navigation system. The GT-R Premium has the additional benefits of Bose audio with additional speakers and subwoofers, heated/AC seats and side curtain airbags. The GTR Premium is expected to sell at a higher percent of the sales. An all-season option, which provides all-season tires and coolant, is available on both models at no additional cost.

Now that you have an idea about what is available...How to buy your new GT-R is the question...With only a very limitted supply of  cars available in the United States paying a premium is given...The question is how much...and where to buy. First you must know that only dealers who have remodeled or rebuilt their dealerships to match Nissan's new image and installed the special lift to be able to service the car  will recieve the GT-R.
