The 2006 KWASAKI ZZR 600 is classified as a Sport / Touring Motorcycle.
I would rate it as 80 % Sport and 20 % Touring. The suspension is adjustable
but it really needs to be changed by an expert on this type of bike. Whatever you
adjust will affect the bikes handling, so if you change the front suspension settings
you must change the rear settings as well. This will keep the bike balanced during
hard braking and cornering. The Engine on this Monster Puts out over 100 H P
and is very manageable, that's a lot of power for a little 600 cc motor. The highest
horsepower is generated in the 8,000 to 10,000 rpm range. There are no big
Power Surges which help to control it better when riding at higher speeds or on a
Race Track. The body work is basic sport bike styling with rounded edges to keep
the Wind Resistance to a minimum. My bike is Black and looks very stealth, like
the B2 Bomber without Wing's. The Tires from the Factory were Donlup 208's,
They SUCKED !! I Put on Bridgestone BT 16's and can not keep the smiles
off my face since then : ) ...I really like this bike, but would not consider Touring
on it unless I could bring the bars up and back more , Helibars has a kit for about
200 dollars . I would also have to add the MRA Vario Windscreen to keep the
wind from beating me up and I could probably do a couple hours riding at a time.
Keep the Rubber Side Down !!
