Upon Further Review

Just as it is every year, SPGU is a real hit-or-miss product. It's just as easy to get a dog box as a winner. Fortunately, this one wasn't too bad, primarily because of the Letter Marks pull. That's one sweet-looking card! We're not exactly sure what they're saying when they describe it on the card back as featuring a "manufactured patch" but we'll guess that they mean it was created by UD specifically for this insert and at no time was attached to a jersey worn by the player. And the autograph is tiny, but hey, at least it's hard signed!

The RC selection was decent, featuring a couple guys with potential. The Jerseys feature sub-dime-sized swatches--a disappointment at this price point--but they are game-used.

All in all, not bad for the money.
