My 2005 Mercedes C230 Kompressor Sport Sedan is one of the best I have owned. It is a M271 1.8L supercharged engine that takes premium fuel. I fill up my tank once every 2 weeks and I drive a lot! I change the oil about once a year every 14,000 miles. The vehicle's oil is Mobile 1 synthetic high miles! The speedometer display system tells you when you need a Plan A service or a Plan B service. It is a great idea to learn to change your oil yourself to save money on maintenance. The Plan A service will run a little over $300 while the Plan B will run at about $600. Doing it your self will cost about $60.... you do the math!
The car has reasonable power and amazing fuel efficiency! The ride is tight and relaxing as well! In the city I get 24 mpg and on the high way I get a fuel economy of up to 34 mpg going 70 - 80 mph on the highway! I've take my car up to 130 mph and it feels smooth and safe! It is electronically limited to 130. This car was said to have a few electrical problems but I have never had a single electrical problem. Maybe some of the others bought flood cars? Everyone that I know that owns this same vehicle say they love theirs and have had no complaints. I would strongly suggest getting your car checked out by the dealer before your warranty run out. Most warranty on Mercedes is 50,000 miles or 5 years!
I would strongly suggest joining any Mercedes Benz online forums or discussion groups to make your self more knowledgeable on your own vehicle and to save money! Click on the link below after joining for FREE!
I hope this helps you out and gives you an insight on the 2005 C230 Kompressor 1.8L sports sedan!
