How to Install Our Ceiling Tiles
You will need the following tools to install your tiles properly:
-
Sharp Knife - Utility Knife or Razor Knife
-
Glue - Ceramic Tile Adhesive (Acryl-Pro), available at any Home Depot
-
Straight Edge - To use as a guide while trimming/cutting tiles
All of the above tools can be easily purchased at any hardware store like Home Depot.
Installation Guide:
Proper Surface - the tiles may be installed on most any ceiling surface like Stucco, sheet rock, plywood, stone, ceramic, PopCorn Ceiling, gypsum, lime-cement, dry plaster, etc... The surface should be in a stable condition. No leaks, mold, loose-old paint, etc.
-
Putting glue on the tile - Using putty knife or other scoop apply small amounts of glue to the corners and the center of the tile. Our tiles are very light weight and do not require much glue.
-
When laying tiles you should make sure that you press hard enought so that the glue adhere to the ceiling surface.
-
Lay the subsequent tiles in paraller rows. Make sure there are no big gaps between the tiles. Try to press them against each other as closely as possible. NOTE: A matching paint is available at any Home Depot and this can be used as a touch-up. Please contact us for additional info.
