A single DVD should never cost more than $2-$3 to ship including handling fees. Postage is very minimal for a single DVD, and if in the original container or case, do not need bubble wrap, boxing, etc. In addition they can be sent for as low as $1.12 media mail if necessary. What many Ebay sellers do not understand that things like gas for your car to the post office, ebay fees, envolopes, etc are part of a business overhead and are deducted from the profit margin. Handling fees are an attempt to fatten the profit margin. Most Ebay buyers are looking for a bargain. They do not want to pay more for an item than it can be bought for at the store locally. Many Ebay buyers are looking to purchase items from a seller who is not "in business" for themselves, but rather more akin to someone having a garage sale. Avoid sellers with handling fees wherever you can. Purchase from sellers who state the only charge actual postage to your address. In many cases sellers attempt to charge a initial low bid price, only to add a huge unreasonable shipping and handling charge. Sometimes this is an attempt to circumvent paying Ebay fees. Don't be fooled. It's not a bargain if the shipping & handling fees make the total cost unresonable.
